During the last days of the reunion the group stayed in Eindhoven, a town liberated by the 101st Airborne Division on September 18, 1944.
We visited the museum Liberating Wings at Best, the drop zones in Son but also non WWII related spots like the little village of Oirschot, about 6 miles North-West of Eindhoven

 

Earl McLung and Buck Taylor had the honor to unveil the new plaque for their fallen buddies (above left)
The Mayor of Nuenen gave each one of them in person a commemoration medal.
